UAE E-Invoicing Compliance — Everything Your Business Needs to Know
The UAE has introduced a mandatory e-invoicing framework that fundamentally changes how invoices are issued, transmitted, and stored. Here is what it means, who it applies to, what the deadlines are — and how we make compliance simple.
How an Invoice Travels Under the UAE System
The UAE has adopted a Peppol-based Decentralised Continuous Transaction Control (DCTCE) — 5-Corner model.

Your Business
Your ERP or accounting system generates invoice data.

Your ASP
Validates, converts to PINT AE XML, digitally signs, and transmits.

Buyer ASP
Receives and delivers the validated invoice to the buyer.

The FTA
Receives a real-time copy for tax validation and audit.

Your Business
Your ERP or accounting system generates invoice data.
Key implication: Invoices no longer move directly between supplier and buyer. If your customer receives a PDF from you after your phase deadline, that invoice is not legally valid — and they lose their right to claim input VAT on it.
